This superbly built machine features a recoil start low emission Kawasaki engine and the revolutionary QX™ system.

  This ‘Quick Exchange' system allows you to not only remove the blade cassette for re-grinding or replacement purposes, but also to turn your lawnmower into a powered rake by substituting the standard six-bladed cassette with the QX™ Lawn Scarifier cassette accessory. An optional extra available on all Balmorals is a 10-bladed QX™ cutting cassette for more frequent cutting - ideal for croquet lawns, tennis courts or wherever a fine lawn finish is required.

The combination of advanced lawnmower technology and a number of special features give the Balmoral an unbeatable cutting performance. For longer grass, you can attach the supplied side wheels which then elevate the mower to provide an effortless cut. The spring tine comb also lifts the grass prior to cutting to ensure an even cut, and a stainless steel front roller and heavy steel rear roller produce those beautiful, classic stripes that are the hallmark of an Atco lawn. Manoeuvrability on the larger 17" and 20" models is further enhanced by a split differential on the rear roller.

The Balmoral is controlled by a three-way drive facility which allows the blades to be disengaged without stopping the engine, convenient for emptying the grassbox and for powered manoeuvres around the garden. Also, when mowing in awkward corners or around trees, you can disengage the drive for manual control.

Features such as foam-cushioned handles, a larger, more manageable throttle and micro-set cutting height adjuster are all designed to make mowing the lawn a positive pleasure.

Classic lines with the ease of electric power – featuring the advanced QX™ (Quick Exchange) cassette system, the ideal choice for the keen gardener with a small to medium sized lawn. The Windsor offers the convenience of electric power and provides the classically striped, close-cut finish that is traditionally associated with Atco cylinder lawnmowers.

The removable QX™ cylinder cutting cassette provides economic and trouble-free maintenance and the optional QX™ lawn scarifier cassette enhances the lawnmower's versatility by converting the Windsor into a powered lawn raker.

Built to provide years of service, the Windsor has a removable 5 bladed steel cutting cylinder, a spring tine comb (14" only) which lifts the grass prior to cutting to ensure an even cut, a stainless steel front roller and self-propulsion. The variable speed control dial allows you to choose your preferred mowing speed, making turning and manoeuvring around borders easy.

Powered by a 340 Watt energy efficient motor, the Windsor has a generous 75 feet of cable allowing access to most areas of the garden and a large capacity grassbox with fitted compactor to minimise emptying trips.

  The safety switch and full-width control bar, that engages the rear roller, are designed for operator comfort and the fold-down handle enables compact storage. When you need to change the cutting height, a simple flush-mounted adjuster allows you to do so in seconds with a simple turn of the dial and gives 5 pre-set cutting heights and one for scarifying. The Windsor – an ideal choice for gardeners who take pride in their lawns.  

Quietly recycling garden debris – The average garden generates a large amount of waste throughout the year, much of which has traditionally been burnt as the most convenient form of disposal. However, the environmentally-conscious gardener knows that not only is this bad for the atmosphere but it is also a waste of natural composting material.

The Atco Quiet Shredder offers an environmentally friendly solution to this perennial problem, and with a powerful 2200 watt motor can shred branches up to 38mm thick.

This model uses a cutting drum system that revolves at 40rpm and is extremely quiet at only 84dB(A)*, creating significantly less noise than a traditional impact blade shredder. It also comes complete with a strong fabric debris bag which conveniently locates onto integral bag hooks.

This unique shredding action has the advantage of self-feed, automatically drawing in the material which reduces the manual feed time and increases throughput. Reverse running and a blockage relese system clears blockages without the need for dismantling the hopper.

Cut and crush chippings for garden mulch or composting

The shredded material undergoes a "cut and crush" action producing small fractures in the chippings allowing access for micro organisms and oxygen to accelerate the composting process. The shredded material can be used as a course layer in a compost heap or alternatively, shred and spread directly onto borders to provide a moisture retaining, weed suppressing layer.

Fitted with motor overload cut-out protection, a robust stand for stability, and wheels for superb manoevrability this is the ideal shredder for woody garden waste.

The Viscount rotary lawnmower benefits from a sleek, attractive design matched only by its durability, performance and comprehensive range of advanced features. Powered by a Briggs & Stratton 5.0hp engine, it possesses a lightweight impact resistant cutting deck for manoeuvrability that won't rust or chip and the handles are styled for maximum comfort.

In addition, the twin-bar controls are within easy reach for safety and convenience and after mowing the cam-lock lever enables you to fold down the handles for storage.

Cutting and collection performance is enhanced by a fan-assisted blade system. This creates additional air-flow underneath the deck which literally blasts the clippings into the large capacity grassbag. This collection system ensures that emptying the easy to use slide-home grassbag is kept to a minimum.

The three-piece power-driven split differential rear roller allows you to steer the lawnmower when turning, eliminating the need for lifting or dragging, which in turn prevents scuffing your lawn.

The Viscount features an easy-to-read height of cut indicator at the front of the deck that is adjusted by a single dial, changing the wide height of cut range from 13mm through to 63mm.

The Viscount is available with either recoil or key start and both versions are self-propelled.
